How much does it cost ?

One of the great things about Papua New Guinea is how cheap living here really is. As there is little or no tourism here at all, it has not been corrupted with western style greed and the basics of life are still basic prices.

The tours are run ex Cairns. We meet you at the Cairns international airport prior to departure and fly with you to Papua New Guinea. It is a total of 9 days and includes 8 nights accommodation.

Bookings are not confirmed until the following have taken place..

• We have received your payment in full
• We have received your signed copies of the Disclaimer and Liability release
• We have issued you your confirmation and travel documents

You will need to arrange your own flights as the tour does not include flights. We can recommend a Whitsundays based international travel agent who always seems to have the cheapest airfares available. Just ask when you book and we'll put you on to him.

You will need to arrange your own passport and have a valid visa. Check here for more information on that.

You may wish to check with your doctor regarding vaccinations and medical precautions that may be relevant to the area.

The entire guided adventure includes...

• Accommodation and airport pickups at Alotau (Meals not included)
• Accommodation in either Wild PNG outposts, Village Stays or Island camping as required
• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner whilst travelling outside of Alotau
• All transport between destinations once in the Milne Bay region. (Types of transport vary as do destinations)
• All Camping gear (Except sleeping bags) as required
• Snorkelling equipment (Mask and snorkel)
• Fishing equipment
• All group cooking and eating equipment

You will need to bring...

• Sleeping bag (Light and small)
• Clothes for warm weather
• A towel
• Toiletry gear
• Money for snacks and drinks (Kina is usually available for exchange at Cairns airport or Port Moresby Airport)
• Money for arts and crafts
• Money for any additional tours
• Money for your choice of restaurant meals during our 2 nights in Alotau (Dinner x 2, Breakfast x 2)
• All in a SMALL backpack

Due to the very nature of the adventures, we cannot gaurantee any or all of the activities or accommodations listed on the wild PNG website. Tour itineries change due to local availability and weather. This is what makes these adventures so unique and adventurous.

Cancellations within 60 days of travel may forfeit tour price.
Cancellations outside 60 days may forfeit 50% of tour price.
